Our Pastor and Family
Welcome everyone. My name is Bradley Green and I am the pastor of New Beginnings Baptist Church. I was born again on March 13, 1994 in Herndon Freewill Baptist Church. After moving to North Carolina, I joined El Bethel Independent Baptist Church. In the 24 years there, I served in such roles as youth Sunday school teacher, men’s Sunday school teacher, song leader, deacon, and was youth minister in Kid’s Connection children’s church. I also filled various other roles as needed within the church.
I realized and accepted my call to preach in 2001 and was married to my wife, Katie, on August 9, 2003. We have two beautiful girls, Cali and Ella, who both have made professions of faith at a young age. My calling to be a pastor came to be fulfilled when I came to New Beginnings as their full-time pastor on November 29th, 2020.
My wife of more than 17 years, Katie, was saved in 1994 at the age of 14. She was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church before going to El Bethel Independent Baptist Church in 1996. Katie graduated from Wingate University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She continued her education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In 2005, she graduated with a Masters degree in School Counseling. Katie currently works as a school counselor at North Stanly Middle School. She has served at El Bethel as a youth Sunday school teacher and church clerk.
It is our belief that serving the LORD is a family affair and our hearts desire is to serve this community and surrounding areas and present them the Gospel of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. We want to be all that God would have us to be so that we can show the love of Christ to everyone in our ‘Jerusalem’.
